The Rustic Herbalist

Rooted in the rhythms of nature, this Master Herbalist, sourdough baker, and end-of-life doula offers a holistic approach to care that honors both everyday nourishment and life’s deepest transitions. After years of caregiving in hospice, she deepened her commitment to holistic wellness through formal training with the Green Wisdom School of Natural and Botanical Medicine. Through The Rustic Herbalist, she offers handcrafted herbal remedies, one-on-one wellness consultations, and educational workshops that empower individuals to reclaim their health with intention and simplicity.

Her practice expands beyond herbalism—Wild Bread Sourdough reflects her love for traditional nourishment, offering naturally leavened bread made from organic, locally sourced ingredients. As a certified death doula, she also holds space for life’s final transition, providing gentle emotional, spiritual, and logistical support to individuals and families navigating end-of-life experiences.

Whether through a cup of tea, a warm loaf of bread, or a quiet presence at a bedside, her work is a return to what sustains us—community, ritual, and the wisdom of the earth.

Paying attention is a form of reciprocity with the living world, receiving the gift with open eyes and an open heart.
